I started to erase all the posts and start this blogging adventure over with a clean slate. But that would be hiding my mistakes when I think it can be a poignant teaching opportunity.
As writers making an internet debut, no matter how much polish, spit, blood and tears you put into making things just right, there will inevitably fall upon your word-child an error – a flaw that comes to inform you and your audience that you are indeed human. Our best should always be our best, mistakes will come, and those who carry on afterward will live to write another day.
In the face of a mistake, you can compose or decompose. Both may stink, but only one has any chance of getting better.
